This beautiful couple are those of one of my August weddings! I am getting so excited to capture their special day! <3 

The location they picked for this shoot could not have been more perfect! It's so royal like!!! I can't wait to see what their wedding venue actually looks like in person. With it being in the Gorge, I'm sure it will be just as magical! <3

{A} Family - Vancouver, Wa Family Photographer

This family was SSSOOO much fun....seriously! And sweet little Larkin was so full of energy and just made my day <3 I let her play photographer a little bit and pose/shoot her mom and dad! She loved it!!! She was more enthusiastic about taking pictures then my own children are. (Probably because I shove them in front of the camera all the time ;) 

All I can say is that almost every smile in every image is real, because Larkin is seriously THAT cute! :)

Mine {Storybook} Little Red and Goldilocks

OK, so these are my 2 girls. (My son will be having a little shoot of his own pretty soon ;) I have been wanting to do this shoot with them for a while, and decided to just go out one day and do it. My big girl is MUCH easier to take pictures of if you can't tell lol.

New Branding & Logo

Well, I have been spending WEEKS trying to figure out a brand and a logo for myself. And after a very long brainstorm I came up with what I have now. I wanted to incorporate something from all different aspects of my life. So I will walk you through my long drawn out brainstorming process <3

When I think about photography, and while shooting i think "real life". So from there I knew I wanted something that expresses life and its unchangeable reality. Everything happens for a reason, and I am a firm believer in that.

From there, I starting thinking about when life was the most simple for me. A time in life where I had no worries and went with the "flow"..........my childhood.  Then I though of it!...... "Let Life Flow"

For those of you that don't know, I was born in Long Beach, Ca. The beach was a huge part my my "life", and also held so much "life" of its own. Living 5 minutes from one of the most desirable beaches in Southern California definitely had a huge impact on my life. 

So then, I started brainstorming about some of my favorite things to do as a child on the beach, i though about when I would walk up and down the beach with my mom and look for seashells. One particular time came to mind......when I found my very first starfish! I was so excited i think i talked about it for a whole year. lol!!  

And, that's where the Starfish came from.... :)

So here it is....the new logo!!!

And I figure I might as well share a picture from our beach trip with my new watermark......

I think every photog comes accross a family this instantly love...this family did it for me. This is my 4th session with this family and I am so happy that our paths crossed!!!

They first came to me shortly after their precious little girl was born and hired me to shoot a newborn session in their home. (Yes, I do that if the clients home is appropriate). So, I have known little "P" since then, and boy is she more beautiful and funny every time I see her <3 And lets not forget to mention the obvious love mommy and daddy have for each other. I bet this man would do anything for his honey, cause getting mine to do a family photo shoot would be like pulling teeth. And this guy just goes with the flow! One of the easiest men to photograph :) Mommy's looks are also a plus too! Like really?? It is ok to be this pretty???

Sara's Baby Bump {Vancouver, Wa Maternity Photographer}

What can I say about this gorgeous mama that you can't already see? She is simply stunning!! And, not to mention....she glows in real life. I didn't have to do one skin touch up on her. <3

This session was postponed a couple days, and location changed just a tad. (same place, different spot). But it turned out awesome, and I think changing the date worked out perfect for us. The weather was much nicer this day. 

Personally, I am not one who pregnancy looks good on. But Sara sure does rock it!!! And I am so so jealous of that b-e-a-utiful baby bump she has. And let me tell ya, if Mr.Man in there is half as good looking as his big sis and brother, this mommy is going to have some trouble keeping those admirers away ;)
